Eduardo Castro

Mr. Castro has more than 30 years of experience in the management and performance of structural design services for new buildings as well as renovations and rehabilitations of educational, cultural, institutional, commercial and government structures.

Mr. Castro has been fully responsible for the technical aspects as well as the management of major projects like the $2.1 billion renovation of the United Nations Headquarters in New York. He has extensive experience in a wide variety of major conventional and protective design projects including the $137 million United States Federal Courthouse in Buffalo, New York, and the $170 million research facility for Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City.

Mr. Castro holds a M.Sc. in Structural Engineering from Columbia University and has been Professor in the Department of Architecture at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York, and in the Department of Civil Engineering at the New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark, New Jersey.

Gerardo Castro

Dr. Castro specializes in the design of fabric structures as well as ETFE roofs and facades. He has designed and constructed fabric structures in many countries including Colombia, Venezuela, Panama, Costa Rica, Mexico, Curacao, Malaysia, and Ecuador.

Dr. Castro has received several awards including the James F. Lincoln Arc Welding Foundation Excellence Award, an Outstanding Achievement Award from the Industrial Fabrics Association International and a Design Award from the Industrial Fabrics Association International. He also holds a patent on a method of design and construction of a dome roof structure.

Dr. Castro holds a M.Sc. and a Ph.D. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York and has been Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Universidad de los Andes in Bogota, Colombia, and in the Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering in Polytechnic University in Brooklyn, New York.

Dilly Fernandez

Ms. Fernandez specializes in the design of structures against seismic events. She has more than 30 years of experience in the design of different types of structures including buildings, structures for hydroelectrical projects and fabric structures.

Ms. Fernandez has received the Outstanding Achievement Award from the Industrial Fabrics Association International on several occasions.

Ms. Fernandez holds a M.Sc. in Seismology and Earthquake Engineering from the Building Research Institute in Tsukuba, Japan.
