Harvard Club of New York

Eduardo Castro was project manager for the structural design of this eight-story, 40,000-square-foot expansion of the Harvard Club of New York City, replacing an existing inadequate second structure at 33-35 West 44th Street. Renovations within the 110,000-square-foot main building included improvement of the antiquated operating systems, including new air conditioning systems and new roofing for several areas. To improve circulation, the two buildings were connected at various levels. The new building includes new guest bedrooms, two new international squash courts and expanded exercise areas, increased banquet and reception space, a multi-media room, administrative areas, and a new guest lobby.
