Eduardo Castro was project manager for this 21,000-square-foot building which includes a gym with two full-size basketball courts, a performance stage with dressing rooms, and boys’ and girls’ locker rooms; learning classrooms for arts and crafts; a dance and music-recording studio; a kitchen and a dining room, and an outdoor courtyard with stone chess tables.
It’s part of the city’s Cornerstone Program, which provides youth and adult services ranging from basketball leagues, to after-school academic programs, to literacy classes.
