Newark Airport Lot E Monorail Extension

Eduardo Castro was project manager for the $10,000,000 expansion of the existing monorail station near Lot ‘E’ at Newark Airport. The project involved addition of passenger arrival area, valet parking service and airline baggage check-in counters.  Extensive exterior glass canopies for passenger pick-up and drop-off area as well as a covered connection to the 4,000 car-parking garage across the street were provided.  The building form and materials used compliment the existing structure while creating an airy and lofty space with extensive use of skylight, glass elevators and fully transparent exterior facades.
